Windows 7 Unable to obtain the Activation Key for Windows 7 Pro 32-bit

Using Hyper-v I just created a VM running Windows 7 Pro 32-bit on a Windows 10 Pro. I purchased Win 7 Pro 32 bit retail and have the DVD and the Product Key.After the installation of Win 7 Pro I tried using the Product Key a number of times to Activate but kept getting a message that the key was invalid. I also tried a number of Prod keys from an article that talked about manually activating Win 7 Pro 32 bit and had no success.I need Windows 7 Pro for software that will not run on any newer platform and the company that created it no longer supports it and it will not run on 8.0 or abov
