Windows 11 Unable to uninstall chrome after the chrome icon on my desktop showed as a plain white piece of paper, How do I uninstall chrome?

I just bought a new laptop and downloaded Chrome as normal. For the first few days everything was working fine however suddenly the chrome icon on the desktop changed to a piece of paper. Only the desktop icon had changed to a piece of paper the pined to taskbar chrome icon was fine. I have restarted my computer a couple of times which did not help and still a blank piece of paper remaind on the desktop. I followedsome steps to change the icon in the properties which also didn't work, as the revert button wasn't there. Then I tried to uninstall Chrome, however I am unable to uninstall chrome a
