Windows 11 Upgrade Windows 11 Home to Enterprise

Hi everyone, I have a Surface Pro 9 which came with Windows 11 Home edition. I would like to upgrade this to Windows 11 Enterprise. I own a Windows 11 Pro Licence. I am also entitled to use Windows 11 Enterprise through our M365 E3 Subscription. I thought I could just remove Windows 11 Home edition. Install Windows 11 Pro using the licence I own, and then upgrade to Windows 11 Enterprise but someone has suggested to me that this breaches the licencing agreement because the Surface Pro did not originally come with Windows 11 Pro or Windows 11 Enterprise.
