Windows 11 Upgrading to Windows 11

I have Windows 10 Pro on my current desktop, and I am building a new computer soon. I know that the upgrade to Windows 11 is free, but my current desktop isnt eligible for the upgrade. I want to install the upgrade onto my new PC that I am building. How would this work? I am assuming I just download Windows 11 to USB and then install it on my new PC and use my old Windows 10 key to activate?Please help!
