Windows 11 USB 3.2 gen 2 type C (think it might be a Thunderbolt 4 port as well?) port randomly stopped connecting to my monitor via Type C to DP

Hi,Laptop: ASUS TUF Gaming F15 FX506HMMonitor: Dell Gaming S2522HGI have been using a Type C/Thunderbolt to DP cable to connect my laptop using a USB 3.2 gen 2 type C (Thunderbolt 4? Not sure if they are the same) port to my monitor using a DP 1.2 port for about a year and a couple of months ago it randomly stopped working. It has done this previously but would only stop working for a few days while I would assume it did internal updates on the laptop and then would start working again, but now it has stopped working at all.I have tried a variety of solutions, including updating any drivers an
