Windows 10 USB keyboard stops working when a key is pressed for too long.

Long story short, I bought a Microsoft wired USB keyboard that stops working for a second when I keep a button pressed for too long, or when I type too fast. This makes gaming impossible and work a chore. It is a Windows software/driver issue (doesn't happen in Linux, happens in another other Windows versions and computers when I plug in the keyboard) and it doesn't seem to be related with device power saving.


I am reposting this because Microsoft techs ignored the initial post after the canned response didn't cut it.
