Windows 11 USB Microphone

I am trying to connect a USB microphone to my computer. I see it as a device under Device Manager> Sound, video and game controllers. When I click on the microphone it says the device is working properly. In the sound settings it is not an option for an input device, and when I go to Control Panel>Sound>Recording it does not show up as an option. (Yes I have allowed my apps permission to use the microphone). How can I get this microphone to work?
