If I had a windows 7 machine with an upgrade to Windows 10 then 11 then 12.Would I need to buy a licences for every VM I create? It would appear that Microsoft is ripping people off by making/forcing them to purchase licences for every VM so if the running software does not work on later versions of windows (Cadence sold OrCAD for £400 but it only works on Windows 10 max!)
