Windows 10 Weird some keys not working in chrome

I have been experiencing the weirdest problem. When using Google Chrome and typing in dialog boxes or web forms, some keys either do not work at all or cause a reaction as if they were some kind of shortcut. As we speak (!) I am typing this using an Edge browser without issue. However, when using THIS exact web site, and THIS VERY text box, but using the Google Chrome browser, certain keys act funky. For example, if I typed the letter s in the middle of a sentence, nothing appears in this text box, but the screen jumps down about 10 lines, If I type several (i.e., sssss) the screen jumps d
