We have used Windows 7 and Pinnacle Studio 21 to convert video tapes to MP4's and on a regular basis 5 frames of the video are dropped at the start and no others are dropped after. The only time frames do drop after the 5 is if you run other programs on your computer at the same time. The Pinnacle program gets interrupted while it plays and copies frames, so frames start to get dropped/skipped. This means when you watch the conversion afterwards, the video skips while it plays and doesn't play like the original.For that reason, once a video conversion starts, the computer is left alone until i
