Windows 11 What do Windows audio and surround sound setting actually do and which ones should I enable?

I am using a stereo gaming headset if it matters.1. Windows has an "Enhance Audio" setting. I don't know what it does.2. My motherboard(and I presume most motherboards) came with access to a Realtek Microsoft store app which has a setting titled "Virtual Surround". 3. Because they are on sale I decided to activate the free trials of DTS and Atmos and now I can enable them in the settings.4. Many games ask in their settings if I am using a stereo, headphones or 7.1 device. Which one am I using if I enable DTS X for example?
