Windows 10 What happen to other drives when I choose Remove Files and Clean Drives

Hi, my laptop is having some problem when I start up so I want to reset my laptop and reinstall Windows. I follow the steps :Setting -> Update & Security -> Recovery -> Reset this PC -> Remove Everything -> Only the Drive where Windows is installed-> two options: - Just remove my files (1)- Remove and clean the drive (2)The last time I tried option (1), and my laptop works normal but after a short time, it keep running into error everytime I start up.
