Windows 11 What happened to the pinned apps Windows taskbar running/not running indication

On Windows 10 it's harder to see if a pinned taskbar app is currently running, on Windows 11, this is no longer the case as a running app now has a tiny underline accent. How do we make that accent bigger again?
