When booting into windows 7, all I get is a black screen and a cursor [Even in safe mode.]
So, usually I put my computer to sleep before I go to bed, one night I decided to be a little nice to my pc and decided to shut it off, the next day i woke up and I couldn't boot up my pc, it wouldn't even get to the windows splash screen, but after restarting over and over again I got to system recovery, tried chkdsk /f /r /x, etc, it found a lot of errors that it fixed but it still isn't working, it gets stuck on this black screen.
Once, I stuck around on the black screen for a while and it suddenly went into a blue screen of death and it said something along the lines of driver state something, think it might be driver power state failure.
Anyone got any clue what's going on?
I would really really really like to not replace my HDD/ re-install Windows.
