Windows 10 When I try to retrieve my typed report the page keep coming up blank. I need my report.

I can't retrieve my report that I typed. I need to forward this report by a deadline which is today. When I click on the file forthe report the page comes up empty. This is not the first time that I had this problem with the newer set up and it is most frustrating.
