Windows 10 when i try to type two vowels in a row it deletes both of them

Words that contain repeating letters like green and wood have 2 repeating vowels. On my Pc, when I try to type those words the second I type the second vowel it deletes both of the letters.I have searched the web but could not find people with the same issue. Please help.
