Windows 11 Where does EUDCEDIT save private characters?

I've created a few private characters with Eudcedit, and I can use them in applications like Word by typing the hex-code followed by Alt+X. However, they do not shew up in Character Map or font managers, either under "All Fonts (Private Characters)" or under EUDC, so I can't get at them to edit them (or to use one as a model in Eudcedit for a new item). I created a new character this morning, and it works as just described, but I can't find it anywhere and the EUDC.TTE font file indicates that it has not been modified since the middle of last year!
