Hello,
We are done creating a new version of our software. We have a code sign-in certificate. We build create software for more than a decade.
Our software is safe, virustotal.com and other major anti-virus software are not identifying any potential security issue with our software.
Only people with Windows Defender get this message when they double click on our .exe file:
Windows protected your PC
Windows Defender SmartScreen prevented an unrecognized app from starting. Running this app might put your PC at risk.
I am wondering, to whom I need to get in touch with to get either our software scanned or tested by MSFT because I really want to make sure that "scary" notification is no longer showing up.
