Windows 10 Why are all my menus disappearing?

Hi I'm Kieran and for the past six months my laptop has being giving me a specific issue. Every time I open and sort of menu such as: the start and right click menus they end up instantly disappearing. This happens in all my apps. Even dialog boxes, ribbons and the address bar instantly close when I try to access them. I found it difficult to even choose appropriate topics for this post as the choices instantly disappear when used.
