Windows 11 Why are my onedrive photos not showing up in my file manager?

I log into onedrive online, all my photos are there. When I go to access them or try something simple like add a profile pic to an app I am taken to file manager. There I have a limited selection of what I have on one drive. It has chosen the folders it shows because I have more folders than than in my account and I can't access my over 6,000 photo library. Help!
