Windows 11 Why are my windows half minimizing to "tiny" now on windows 11?

For some reason, when I click to half-minimize a window on my windows 11 PC, they half-minimize to "tiny" now, a narrow bar that's only an inch wide. Only wide enough to show a few icons stacked on top of each other, and I can't see the names unless I hover the mouse cursor over them. This happened after I installed the latest 11 update. Is this happening to everyone now, and how do I fix this to go back to the usual sensible half-windows?
