Windows 11 Why can’t I download videos without them corrupting?

For some reason, any video i now download is corrupted, apart from me recording on VLC, I cannot copy or download video files without them corruptingI have done the CHDSKS command & have checked for drive errors and bad sectors and found nothing. Im stuck in a dead end and unsure what to do - any help would be appreciated.
