Windows 11 Why can't I search by voice?

I am using Windows 11, on a Dell computer, with Google Chrome. I cannot use search by voice. If I click the button, I get a message that the page has been blocked from using the microphone. I have been through site settings, google is allowed. In the Windows 11 privacy settings, Google Chrome is allowed for Microphone access. Any additional advice or things to try would be very helpful. I'm stumped.
