Windows 11 Why can't I verify pin on computer.

Signing into Windows 11 Pro, receive a message "Credentials could not be verified "Then put into a sign up loop...where it can't verified the pin and needs a reset..checks if I'm sure ...tries to resign and ends in "we weren't able to set up the pin try again"Have tried windows recovery but unsure as to the right approach to take...I do have access to Windows on my mobile (where this is being conducted)The computer was running a full virus scan, when it fell into sleep mode, and the wake resulted with this outcome.Any suggestions?
