When I try to install a 3rd party application on my Dell XPS-8950 system I only get a brief "hourglass" and then nothing further. Task Manager shows no tasks related to that install running. I have disabled (and even uninstalled) Norton Security with no change in results. No error codes are given. This is a known good application I've been using for 6 years with no problems on Windows 10. I'm baffled. Any help is appreciated. "S-Mode" is not enabled, by the way.
