It says the word: "Desktop" on the bottom-right corner of my screen. I have forgotten how I got it there and would like to know how to remove it.
Also, sometimes when I place my cursor on a tab at the top of my browser, my cursor disappears. It doesn't work, as well. I have to log out and turn off my laptop, which can be a pain when I have written an extensive amount of writing and didn't remember to save what I've written down.
