Windows 11 Why does my audio quality drop whenever I join a call or launch a game that uses my microphone?

My audio drops in quality whenever my microphone is being used by any app. When I use a bluetooth headset, the audio drops when i join a call and when i used wired earphones, the mic does not work at all and no one can hear me in that case. My bluetooth headset does not show up as an input device even though it has an in built microphone. I did not have this issue on Windows 10 since i could simply disable the second audio channel that showed up when using a bluetooth headset. I have no way to do this in Windows 11. Please help me with this.
