Windows 11 Why does my sound output automatically change between my laptop speakers and any external sound device?

Hello,Operating System: Windows 11Laptop: Dell G5 15 5510The main gist of the problem at hand, is to do with sound output. I was able to reproduce it via connecting Bluetooth / wired headphones + earphones, all producing the same issue as shown in the links.
