Windows 11 Why does Windows 11 change my desktop background when I switch from "Extend" to "PC Screen Only"

I have a multi-monitor setup, and I have different desktop backgrounds set for the left and right monitors.Here's a color-coded illustration:left-wallpaper.pngright-wallpaper.pngOccasionally, I switch my Windows 11 PC to "PC Screen Only" mode by hitting Windows Key + P so that I can use the left monitor with my laptop.My issue is that whenever I switch back to "Extend" mode, the desktop background wallpaper on my left monitor is reset to whatever is on the right monitor:right-wallpaper.pngright-wallpaper.pngShouldn't the left monitor retain the wallpaper settings?
