Windows 11 Why does Windows Update run allthough it is paused.

So, once again my PC just restarted at night. It becomes quite anoying. It happens on all my systems. The following Group Policy is enabled:"No auto-restart with logged on users for scheduled automatic update installations"Still, Windows restartes itself regualary after downloading updates. So I though ok, just pause Updates to a max. Doing so, my PC still installes updates, which I can see in the event viewer, and restarts automatically ignoring both the Windows update configuration and the GPO. Any ideas? This is driving me insane.Thanks everyone.
