Windows 11 Why is Microsoft Defenders Real Time protection always scanning and because of that writing a lot of I/O write bytes?

Proces MsMpEng.exe is writing as crazy I/O write bytes and I/O other writes, soon as I disable Real Time protection writes stop. I think this should not be how Real time protection should work, Real time protection should only scan when files change, and when we download something, that is only thing it should scan, dont know why it is scanning the same files over and over every day, when they are already scanned, that should not happen. Is there any fix for this?
