Windows 10 Why is my actual download speed so slow when I'm supposed to be getting gigabit speed internet.

Whenever I test my download speed online it says it can download up to 600ish mbps, but when I actually download something the download speed gets capped at around 80 mbps. I have a gigabit internet service so I should be getting download speeds to match. What do I need to do to get better download speeds?
