Windows 11 Why is my Windows 11 PC reserving 24.1 gb of ram?

I recently installed 2 new sticks of ram in my PC (was 16gb total now 48gb total) but upon installation and checking my new ram amount my pc says its reserving half of it and I dont know why or how to fix it.
