Windows 11 Why is the wordpad on windows 11 such a bad copy of the wordpad used on windows 10?

I have just bought a new Lenovo Ideapad windows 11. The fonts look like a copy of a copy of a copy and so on. I have hundreds of rich text files written in Chinese characters and English. Having uploaded them to this new laptop I was suprised to find that characters written in the old Simsum size 12 now look as if they are written in size 10 - they are bitty and badly formed. As the English and Pinyin is written in Calibri font in a different size it will take me months if not years to change every Chinese word into a larger font (at least size 14 to be acceptable) and then to change all the E
