Windows 11 Why is there a 60 FPS lock on games?

I have a NVIDIA GeForce 1070 and I used to get high frames on my computer but then my computers SSD got corrupted so I got a new one for my computer. I had a different SSD with some data already on it so I transferred that data on my new SSD and installed some games. That is when I realized that my games had a FPS lock of 60 FPS and so I went to my settings and in the system tab I saw that my computer said "HP laptop 14-ck0xxx". I want to play my games at my old, higher frames but I just don't know what to do.
