Windows 11 why my fingerprint sensor is constantly active?

Hello,I have a problem with my fingerprint sensor. After putting my laptop to sleep it will wake up on it's own and fingerprint sensor keeps working. I keep getting the message "your device couldn't recognize you. Try cleaning your fingerprint sensor" and it keeps refreshing the sensor and won't let it sleep. My laptop is Asus vivobook 16x. I don't know if it's software problem or hardware, any help would be appreciated.
