Windows 10 Why won't my ps4 controller be picked up as a controller, only an audio device?

I've setup my ps4 controller with DS4 and im trying to play xbox game pass ultimate games with it, however my controller won't be picked up and keeps saying it's an audio device in my settings? I've disabled it as an audio device in teh control panel but every time i reconnect it it goes back to being an audio device :(
