Windows 11 wifi turns into: "no internet, secured" when I turn on my moble hotspot with an ethernet cable and vpn enabled (On laptop)

I am trying to use a hotspot with a vpn on my laptop for my nintendo switch, in order to go from a nat d to nat b.For my hotspot, I am sharing the connection from my ethernet cable. Then I am activating a vpn. This works, and I can turn my nintendo switch from a nat d to nat b. However, between 0 and 10 minutes, my wifi goes from "Connected, secured" into "no internet, secured" resulting in my switch losing wifi. The only way for my connection to go back to "Connected, secured" is by turning off the vpn.It seems that I need wifi in order to share my mobile hotspot. I cannot figure out why my
