Windows 11 will a win 10-11 ISO File work from a plain thumb drive

I bought a used hp desktop with win 11 installed(upgraded I believe) but it's causing me some problems and Iwant to recover win 10....it seems like a lot of drivers for different external equipment have not been set upfor win 11 so I want to recover win 10 and then later on, reinstall win 11 from the ISO File on thumb drive.FIRST-I made a ISO File of Win 11 onto a plain Thumb drive...Will it work to reinstall Win 11 later?SECOND-Why use a Flash Drive as opposed to a Thumb Drive...won't a thumb drive work?THIRD-Do I have to make it bootable to work?How do I do that without having to read thru p
