Version of Windows prior to 11 allowed adjusting file associations at the will of the user, but Windows 11 is lacking that option. In particular the JPG and PNG associations don't allow setting a default. The option when using Open With from Explorer only shows "Just Once" as the only choice.If the Photo's application is repaired from the Installed App section (Settings --> Apps --> Photos --> Advanced Options --> Repair ) then the option to change the default file association to another application works as expected.Here's the menu after running the repair....Did a bug in first
