Windows 11 Will using the same prod key one a new PC disable the old one?

I recently set up a virtual machine for Windows 11. While trying to sign in to windows on it with my Microsoft account it asked if I wanted to restore a back-up from what it acted like was my old PC but is my current one(Which I need to work btw).I start looking through the options it gives me and I find "Set Up As A New PC". Here it says nothing about my old PCs and has no confirmation that it won't disable the old/current one.One reason I'm particularly worried about it disabling my current device is that while setting up the VM I used the same product key that my PC currently runs with.
