Win 10 Pro x86 32 Bit ver 1909 HomeGroup?
Did a clean install on one of my three old PC running win 10 pro to 1903, now at 1909.
Still having bugs with sharing.
Main files on Old win 10 pro (originally XP) now running ~ ver 180x.
Sometime when I edit a file on 1909, it then will not let the actual PC file is on replace it with a newer version made on that PC.
Also, when you rt click a folder on version 1909, say give access to...
It still shows HomeGroup.
Why does it show homegroup if HomeGroup is gone.? Seems like a bug to be reported somehow.
What is best way to share with everyone on my private network?
Is it right click > give access to > EveryOne
If I try to share, then add a user name of other PC local account, it usually does not recognize the name or worse tries to add it as user to the PC you are on.
Should you do C: drive or just specific folders (can highlight several at once)
I had issue once where a new windows update stopped keyboard and mouse from working. If I share C drive would that allow me to get into system restore of another PC on my network?
Currently no WyFy Just ethernet.
