Windows 11 Win 11 clean install - unable to see ssd

I had a dismal attempt at upgrading from Win 10 to Win 11. I won't go into that. So I must do a clean install. My win 10 system is visible - sort of - with my sign in screen etc . I just can't sign in.I run the win 11 install (created using the media creation tool). It sees no disk drives except the usb. I poke around. The drive is in the bios ok but diskpart just doesn't find it. I try a few things I have seen suggested but nothing results in any change. I have just taken the disk out and formatted it on another computer using diskpart. It shows as healthy, active, primary partition. Replace
