Windows 10 Win10 File Explorer Quick Access Cannot Hold More Than 1 Entry

Win 10 Home, fully updated.The File Explorer Quick Access (FE QA) behaviour has recently changed on one of my systems. It was working as expected previously and I do not know of any recent, specific system changes might be a culprit. There have been some but, honestly, how would I know what "updates" do to my system?The QA menu will not save more than one entry, unless they are the 4 system defaults. If all of the defaults are present, I cannot add my own. If I remove at least one, I can add only one personal entry no matter how many defaults I delete. No recently used files appear in the
