Windows 11 Window 11 started an automatic update and then fails and then restarts in a loop

I am running Windows 11 Pro on a AIO computer. The machine started to do an update (automatically) but gets no further than dis[playing the Blue Windows Icon. I am told that the update is 3% complete, before displaying 1"7% complete" for a fraction of a second before then re-starting. I cannot get as far as diagnostics. I will loop here endlessly.Any suggestions ?James
