Hi All,
I have a 2nd monitor connected to my Dell Inspiron 3493 through a HDMI cable, but it is not working. I am getting the options to Duplicate, Extend and project to my 2nd monitor, but when I click on any of the options, nothing happens.
Here is what I have tried so far:
>Checked the cable itself, its working fine, I used another laptop to connect to the same monitor and it worked perfectly.
>Updated the display driver from the Dell website. I can see that the display driver's version matches that of latest one on the Dell website.
>When I checked on Settings>System>Display>Advanced Display Settings, it says that the 2nd display is not active:
>When checking on Device Manager, I can see that there are 2 monitors being detected, but nothing I do gets the second screen to work.
