Windows 10 Windows 10 Backup Failure with VSS Error

If anyone can help I would appreciate it. I"ve searched for information on this error without success.

My Windows 10 computer got Feature Update 2004 on 7/27/2020, since then I haven't been able to get Backup and Restore (Windows 7) to run because of a VSS error.


Volume Shadow Copy Service error: Unexpected error calling routine IVssAsrWriterBackup::GetDiskComponents. hr = 0x80042302, A Volume Shadow Copy Service component encountered an unexpected error.

Check the Application event log for more information.
