Greetings, one customer has BSOD when shutting down pc on a new laptop.

The system is a DELL Precision 7540, we added 2 DDR and a M2 NVME.

Few weeks after having the laptop the customer received BSOD when shutting down:

25/8/20 SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION ntoskrnl.exe

27/8/20 SPECIAL_POOL_DETECTED_MEMORY_CORRUPTION ntoskrnl.exe

We immediately try to remove the new-added ram modules, lavingo only the soldered ram but it still produce BSOD.

27/11/20 DRIVER_IRQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL ntoskrnl.exe snpnio.sys

28/11/20 SPECIAL_POOL_DETECTED_MEMORY_CORRUPTION ndis.sys ntoskrnl.exe

29/11/20 SPECIAL_POOL_DETECTED_MEMORY_CORRUPTION ndis.sys ntoskrnl.exe verifierext.sys

Today we activated the Driver Verifier as listed here:

The result was a BSOD: DRIVER_VERIFIER_DETECTED_VIOLATION on:

dpmconv.sys

ntoskrnl.exe

Wdf01000.sys

I already tried Nirsoft BlueScreenView I found the files who are creating problems, but I still have no idea how to solve. Laptop is upgraded to the lastest Win10 12H2 64bit. I've the reent dump files and the system info but need help.

Kind Regards

Enrico Sandri
