Hello,
I'm having issues that may be related. Please note:
1) Up until a few days ago, memory usage per the task manager would be in the 50% range with one video streaming app open (CPU would be less than 5%). Suddenly memory with one app open is now above 80% (CPU is typically in the 15-20% range).
2) Around the same time #1 began, Chrome and windows update would freeze when first opened after startup (edge browser opens immediately).
3) I ran the update troubleshooter and reinstalled chrome -- neither helped.
4) The only items in the task manager that appear to be using unusually high memory are "Antimalware Service Executable" 70 MB and "Malwarebytes Service" 60MB. These items are much smaller than Chrome, which is around 600MB so not sure if closing them will help.
Any suggestions would help.
