Windows 10 Windows 10 Fall Creator Update 1709 stalls at 33%

My older laptop is running Build 1511 and stalls at 33% every time it tries to update to the Fall Creator 1709. I am afraid all future updates will be blocked because of this. Anyone have a good fix for the update issue? I have run the troubleshooters and tried various advice from the blogs, but to no avail.


Thanks for anyone's help they can provide. This seems to be a common problem with Windows 10 users, from the comments I see.
